Press Releases & PR Content

KOL & PR Services / Press Releases & PR Content

Make your brand and product information easier to understand, check and use. HollisMercer PR develops English press releases, media kits and supporting content for consumer brands communicating with U.S. media and audiences.

Turn product information into a usable story

A strong communications package explains the news without making an editor work through a sales presentation. We identify the main announcement, organize supporting facts and adapt the language to the intended audience. The result gives your outreach, website and external conversations a consistent foundation.

The work can support a new product, company announcement, exhibition appearance, market entry or other business milestone. We start with what can be substantiated, then choose the format that best serves the story.

What we create

  • English press releases: news angles, headlines, clear announcement copy and approved company information.
  • Brand messaging: concise company descriptions, product positioning and context for the audience.
  • Product materials: one-pagers, specifications, reviewer notes and questions and answers.
  • Media kits: organized text, images, video references and other approved assets that writers can access.
  • Article content: topic development, English writing and editing for an agreed guest article or brand content format.
  • Publication coordination: planning appropriate release channels, managing agreed submission steps and recording published links.

Keep editorial, distributed and paid content distinct

A press release states your company’s announcement. Distribution may make that announcement available through a news service or publishing channel, but it does not turn the release into an independent editorial endorsement.

Guest articles and branded content are separate formats. We define the intended publisher, authorship, review process and any paid arrangement before proceeding. Sponsored content should be identified as such, and contributed articles remain subject to the publisher’s policies. We keep these activities separate from earned media outreach when describing scope and reporting results.

A clear drafting and approval process

First, we collect the announcement, audience, product facts and available evidence. Next, we propose the story and draft the agreed materials. Your review confirms factual claims and what can be made public before content moves into distribution or outreach.

For international brands, the work includes adapting explanations and terminology for an English-speaking audience. We preserve the meaning of approved facts while making the story easier to follow. Technical, safety and performance claims need their own supporting documentation; clearer wording does not replace that evidence.

After publication, we organize the resulting links and final materials for future use. If the content supports a time-sensitive announcement, we can align it with a product launch or trade show PR plan.

Guest articles and coordinated campaign materials

Guest article support can include topic development, publisher matching, English drafting, submission coordination and link archiving. Before work starts, we agree on the article format, authorship, review steps and any publication charges. Writing fees and distribution or placement costs are specified for the project.

The same approved product facts can inform briefs for an influencer campaign, with language and instructions adapted to each format. Share your existing documents, audience, proposed channels and required deliverables so we can confirm the scope, revision process and fees. Frequently Asked Questions

Is a press release the same as media coverage?

No. A release is a company announcement. Independent coverage is written or selected by an editorial publication, which controls its own conclusions and wording. We distinguish the two in planning and reporting.

Can you work from existing product documents?

Yes. Product sheets, existing copy and background materials can form the starting point. We review what is available, identify missing facts and develop the agreed English-language materials for approval.

Will publishing a release guarantee search rankings or AI citations?

No. Clear public information can help people and search systems understand a brand, but publication alone does not guarantee rankings, indexing or AI citations. Content should first serve a real information need.
